I grew up in East Texas and this felt like home. Friendly people and great home cooking at local restaurants. The house is amazing. So modern and well done. Very relaxing.

Everything was perfect for a trip to move our daughter into ETBU. Kitchen and bathrooms were very clean and we had everything we needed. Furniture, linens, and towels were comfortable and nice quality. We will definitely try and book again when coming back to Marshall.

The Haven was the most peaceful place to rest and recuperate! The house and location were both gorgeous and we felt right at home the minutes we walked in! Our hosts were so wonderful to work with and were very proactive in making sure our stay was top tier. I would LOVE to visit again soon! There isn’t a separate bathroom door but there are room dividers that worked for us!

Very nice guesthouse! Lower level en-suite IS handicap accessible but the bathtub is NOT handicap accessible. Grandma got into the shower but couldn’t get out. Property is gated. Ask about the status of the gate before booking. Great place to stay!

I don’t say this lightly, I’ve stayed in quite a few different air bnbs. This one is by far my favorite.. Location, very comfortable, beautiful home! Didn’t want to leave!

The pictures online do not do this property justice! We could immediately tell why this property is such a popular one for people to book! It was warm, inviting and we felt completely comfortable from the second we walked in the door. The hosts were the best out of any property I’ve ever stayed! They were quick to respond back to anything immediately and were very accommodating! They had seen to and covered anything anyone could possibly think of prior to our arrival. You couldn't ask for better hosts! They are the ideal team that everyone hopes to get when booking a property! This was by far the best experience we have ever had. From beginning to end, the hosts took absolute great care of us to guarantee we had the best stay! THANK YOU!!

Hi there! You guys weren’t lying, this place is truly a hidden gem. What a special place to wonder around, play with the canoes in the river, lake and canals. The nature sounds are so perfect. It’s like living in a big tropical zoo. Amazing. We’ve visited a lot of places around the world but we never thought that Texas and this house high on wooden poles would make it to our top5 best places (so far!)

5 stars! This cozy and spacious home was the perfect place to settle my nerves before the big day. The quiet neighborhood offered peace and privacy, and the house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, which made the stay even more stress-free. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and prepare before walking down the aisle!

Our home office is located in Marshall so I rented the home to host meetings and training without us being disturbed. It was much easier than renting a conference room and a hotel in town. The home was perfect plenty of room to meet or needs. Very enjoyable and quite. I'm sure we will be back again it was perfect.
